What was the highlight of Le Hameau Albert 1er
Magical ski resort that stays updated and modernized while retaining its long tradition and routes
Albert has created a magical hotel for any traveller. It goes back many decades and the owners have ensured the hotel is always kept up to date and to the highest of standards. The bus from the hotel to the ski slopes (available on the spot, not predefined times!!) was probably the one detail that made my trip so much easiser. The spa area and the pool were out of this world. Finally, the location was exceptional too, practically in the middle of the town centre.
The hotel has two restaurants, one Michelin star one and one "traditional one". They both operate at different days (at any given day, only one of them is open). I would have appreciated the "traditional" restaurant to have had much better prices. Also, the breakfast was too simple to justify the cost of 35 euros per person.

Excellent facilities and service.
The breakfast quality was good but it didn’t have many options, I expected a much more rich breakfast.

Great spa at Hotel Albert !er
The staff was very nice and helpful. The spa was wonderful.
However the room and the hotel in general lacked a warm or charming atmosphere, as I would expect from a hotel in Chamonix.
